BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 10. Entrepreneurs from UAE and Afghanistan purchased hydrotreated diesel fuel during trading on February 3 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
Businessmen from UAE and Afghanistan purchased 35,000 tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel on the exchange at a price of $932 per ton. The total amount of the transaction was $32,6 million.
At the same time, according to the exchange, on the same day, entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan purchased 55 tons of dyed terry products worth $302,500.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. The country pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
