BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 14. The municipality of the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, exceeded the plan for the work carried out and the development of investments for 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This was announced by the head of the city of Ashgabat Rahim Gandymov at an expanded meeting of the government held on February 10.
According to him, during the reporting period, self–supporting enterprises and institutions subordinate to the city municipality exceeded the plan for the work carried out by 23.5 percent, and for the development of investments - by 10.3 percent.
Furthermore, Gandymov noted that a number of social and other facilities were built and commissioned in Ashgabat last year. Among them are residential buildings, secondary schools, a Center for repair and maintenance of power equipment, Tashkent Park, a complex of drainage structures, etc.
Meanwhile, the government meeting summed up the results of work in the economic sphere for 2022, identified priority tasks of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan for this year and considered a number of other issues.
