BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 31. Businessmen from Switzerland purchased polypropylene from Turkmen production at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports.
Representatives of the business community from Switzerland purchased 500 tons of polypropylene on the exchange at a price of $1,000 per ton. The total amount of the transactions was $500,000.
At the same time, according to the exchange, businessmen from Türkiye purchased 250 tons of industrial liquid material in the amount of $88,750 ($355 per ton).
Turkmenistan is one of the countries that is actively developing in the field of polymer production. The main type of polymer produced in Turkmenistan is polypropylene, which is one of the most important export goods of the country.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
