BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 25. Turkmenabat chemical plant named after Saparmurat Niyazov, located in the Lebap region of Turkmenistan, manufactured products worth over 40.84 million Turkmen manats ($11.69 million) from January through May 2023, Trend reports.
According to the official source of Turkmenistan, during the reporting period, the plant manufactured 102,600 tons of phosphorous mineral fertilizers, fulfilling the plan by 100.1 percent.
The growth rate of production in the first 5 months of this year compared to the same period in 2022 is 12 percent.
Turkmenabat chemical plant named after Saparmurat Niyazov is the only production enterprise in Turkmenistan for the production of phosphorus fertilizers necessary to increase the yield of cotton, grain and other agricultural crops.
