Turkmenistan releases update on sheep, goat offspring in Lebap region

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 25. There are currently more than 3 million heads of sheep and goats in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan, Trend reports.

According to official data, this season this region has received more than 1.27 million lambs.

In general, in the Lebap region at the moment, all farms contain 553,300 heads of cattle, over 4.15 million poultry, and 5,900 camels.

Private subsidiary farms show high activity and efficiency in the production of these products necessary for the population.

Furthermore, at the moment a lot of work is being done in Turkmenistan to develop animal husbandry, increase the number of livestock, manufacture meat and dairy products, and strengthen the feed base of the industry.

The improvement of local livestock enterprises continues.
