ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 28. Turkmenistan is ready to consider proposals for the implementation of new projects in the development of the chemical and oil and gas industries, in particular to increase the production of phosphorus, ammonia, carbamide, and gasoline from natural gas, Trend reports.
This was discussed at the meeting of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov with the senior adviser on strategic issues of the Japanese Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. company, Tatsuya Watanabe, who came to Ashgabat.
During the meeting, Berdimuhamedov stressed that Turkmenistan is always open for effective business cooperation with interested leading foreign partners, while adding that the mutually beneficial partnership with the largest Japanese companies with a worldwide reputation, which have been successfully operating in the Turkmen market for many years, has been particularly developing in recent years.
According to him, a vivid example of this is the fruitful partnership of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. with the Turkmenhimiya and Turkmengaz state concerns, which has successfully completed the construction of production complexes.
In turn, Watanabe expressed readiness for further cooperation with Turkmenistan.
Turkmenistan is rapidly developing its chemical and energy sectors, giving them strategic importance for the long-term sustainability and prosperity of the country.
In the chemical industry, Turkmenistan is actively investing in modern technologies and production facilities in order to increase production volumes and expand the range of products, including fertilizers, chemicals, and plastics.
