Turkmenistan notes excess of initial forecast of state budget revenues

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 9. Turkmenistan exceeded the initial forecast, increasing state budget revenues by 9.8 percent in the period from January through November this year, Trend reports.

This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on December 8 this year.

He stressed that at the same time, during the mentioned period, the execution of the expenditure part of the state budget amounted to 98 percent.

Furthermore, he added that compared to the same period last year, in the first 11 months of 2023, 52 social facilities, 34 water treatment plants, 491,100 square meters of housing, as well as engineering systems were built across the country as part of the implementation of the National Rural Program.

Meanwhile, Turkmenistan has consistently witnessed economic expansion through concerted endeavors in the energy, transportation, and infrastructure domains.

The nation is proactively enacting initiatives to draw in foreign investments, with a particular emphasis on diversifying the economy and enhancing the overall business environment.
