ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, May 24. Turkmenistan has sent another batch of sheep wool to the Ulyanovsk region of Russia, Trend reports.

According to the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) Directorate for the Chuvash Republic and the Ulyanovsk Region, from May 14 through May 21, 2024, two cargoes of washed sheep wool weighing 39.98 tons were delivered to the Ulyanovsk region from Turkmenistan.

Furthermore, the Ulyanovsk region has purchased 22 batches of wool weighing 437 tons from Turkmenistan since the beginning of this year.

The quality of the product has been checked by Rosselkhoznadzor specialists, and it fully complies with established sanitary standards.

Meanwhile, economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia is developing, marked by important steps towards mutual benefit.

The two countries actively cooperate in the fields of trade, energy, and infrastructure projects, which further strengthens the partnership and contributes to overall economic progress.
