Uzbekistan will host the 2011 Muaythai World championships on Sept. 20-27, President of the Amateur and Professional Muaythai Federation of Uzbekistan Sherzod Tashmatov said, Xinhua reported.
Tashmatov told a press conference in Tashkent that about 700 Muay Thai boxers will take part in the championships.
Muaythai is a tough martial art form, which originated in Thailand.
