Uzbekistan is concerned about another North Korean nuclear test, which would be a flagrant violation of UN Security Council resolutions and a direct threat to security in the region and the world at large, according to a report released on Thursday by Jahon Information Agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Uzbekistan strongly urges Pyongyang to listen to the opinion of the international community and refrain from provocative actions that lead to escalation of tensions and undermine peace and confidence in the Korean peninsula," a statement said.
Earlier this week, the government of North Korea announced that it has successfully tested a miniature nuclear device.
