The Kam Air plane, which implemented the first flight from the Afghan capital of Kabul, has landed this morning in Tashkent.

Uzbekistan’s national airline Uzbekistan Airways said that this first flight is the result of fulfillment of the order by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The first flight also has a symbolic meaning, being carried out, on the eve of the official visit of Afghanistan’s President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani to Uzbekistan scheduled for early December.

In this regard, a delegation consisting of members of the Afghan government arrived in Tashkent on Boeing 737, owned by Kam Air.

It is planned that the Kabul-Tashkent-Kabul flights will be carried out starting from early December twice a week – on Wednesdays and Sundays.
