BMB Trade Group, Uzbek Saffron Research Center (SRC) discussed the issues of mutually beneficial partnership and the application of scientific developments of the SRC in the field of saffron cultivation, Trend reports referring to the press service of BMB Trade Group.
The mentioned issue was discussed during a working visit of the director of the Saffron Research Center (SRC), Professor, Doctor of Biological Sciences Bobokul Yorkulovich Tukhtaev to the office of BMB Trade Group on January 22, 2021.
During the event, the executive director of BMB Trade Group, Abdurashid Sharafutdinov, briefly introduced the guest to the activities of the company, as well as the ongoing project for growing, processing, and exporting Italian saffron in the Bakhmal district of the Jizzakh region.
In turn, the director of SRC shared the results of the research activities of the center, telling in detail about the peculiarities of the cultivation of Dutch, Iranian Afghani, and other types of saffron.
The parties also discussed issues of mutually beneficial partnership and the application of scientific developments of the SRC in the field of growing saffron and other medicinal crops on the basis of the BMB SHIFO subsidiary in the Bakhmal region.
