The growth of the gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan from January through September 2021 amounted to 6.9 percent, Trend reports citing the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.
The average GDP growth rate of is predicted to be 6.5 percent over the next five years.
In the period from January through September, 338,000 additional jobs were created; about 77,000 new business entities started their activities. Over past nine month of 2021 investment volume amounted to 32 percent of GDP.
The growth in construction work in 2021 is predicted to amount to 6.6 percent, in service sector - 8.6 percent, and in agriculture - 2.8 percent.
