Uzbekistan's Almalyk MMC exceeds its export plans for 10M2021

Uzbekistan's Almalyk mining and metallurgical plant has seriously exceeded its export plans for 10 months of 2021 and has come close to a historical record, Trend reports citing the press service of “Almalyk MMC” JSC.

Since the beginning of the year, the plant has exported products for a total amount of $923.9 million, which is 35.1 percent more than expected. By the end of November, this amount will exceed $1 billion, which will be a historic record for the enterprise.

The plant has seriously exceeded its export plans for many types of products. For example, the forecast for the export of palladium powder was fulfilled by 639.9 percent, sulfuric acid - by 477.3 percent, rhenium - by 296.1 percent, selenium - by 232 percent, tungsten - by 211.6 percent.

The enterprise has exceeded the plan for the sale of copper and zinc products, white Portland cement, gray cement and other goods.

Almalyk MMC exports its products Russia, Turkey, Belarus, Bulgaria, Poland, Indonesia, the Netherlands and other countries. Negotiations are under way to supply copper pipes to Egypt and Germany.

The Almalyk plant accounts for 7 percent of total industrial products and 15 percent of the country's exports, the plant provides 8 percent of Uzbekistan's budget revenues.
