The volume of exports from Uzbekistan in 2020 amounted to $15.1 billion, which is a decrease of 13.5 percent compared to 2019 ($17.4 billion), Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
In 2010, the volume of exports amounted to $13 billion, which is 15.9 percent less than in indicator of 2020. During the period of 2015-2020, the volume of exports increased by 20.7 percent.
The volume of exports to the CIS countries in 2020 amounted to $4.1 billion, to other countries it amounted to $10.9 billion.
At the same time, the volume of imports to Uzbekistan in 2020 amounted to $21.1 billion, which is a decrease of 13 percent compared to 2019 ($24.2 billion).
In 2010, the volume of imports amounted to $9.1 billion, which is 2.3 times less than in 2020. In the period of 2015-2020, the volume of imports increased by 70.3 percent.
Imports from the CIS countries in 2020 amounted to $7.7 billion, and from other countries amounted to $13.4 billion.
