Uzbekistan imported 27,600 tons of meat from January through November of 2021, Trend reports referring to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
Import of meat increased by 8,400 tons compared to the corresponding period of the last year.
During this period, most of the meat was imported from Belarus in the amount of 18,700 tons.
The main countries that exported meat to Uzbekistan in 11 months of 2021 were: Kazakhstan (4,200 tons), Ukraine (2,600 tons), Russia (629 tons), and Moldova (660 tons).
From January through October 2021, the country has imported more than 23,900 tons of meat, which is an increase of 7,300 tons compared to the corresponding period of the last year.
