Uzbekistan’s Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AMMC) exported products worth $1.12 billion in 2021,Trend reports citing the Uzbek Media Outlets.
AMMC exported over 92,535 tons of copper products, including 81,134 tons of cathode copper, 6,291 tons of copper rod, 5,111 tons of copper pipes, and 13,861 tons of copper sulfate to foreign consumers in 2021.
In total, over the past year, 63,880 tons of zinc products, including 62,232 tons of metallic zinc, and 1,648 tons of zinc sulfate were exported.
During this period, the enterprise exported 86,102 tons of sulfuric acid and 862 tons of molybdenum.
In 2021, the products manufactured by the AMMC's plant were exported to Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Poland, Tajikistan, Indonesia, the Netherlands, China, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan.
AMMC produced products in amount of 30.7 billion soums ($2.8 million) in 2021.
