Uzbekistan proposed India to develop joint projects in healthcare, education and IT spheres,Trend reports referring to the press service of the president of Uzbekistan.
These issues were discussed at the India-Central Asia summit held on January 27, 2022.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed to develop joint projects for the production of pharmaceutical products, launch the training of virologists and develop a cooperation program for the introduction of digital innovations, fin-tech and blockchain technologies.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also proposed expanding the network of multidisciplinary medical centers opened by Indian partners in Uzbekistan by launching new clinics at branches of Indian medical universities in Uzbekistan.
To deepen cooperation in the field of education, the president proposed to develop a road map focused on opening branches of universities and vocational education centers, establishing scientific and academic exchange, and supporting innovative developments and start-ups.
To develop regional cooperation in the IT field, Mirziyoyev proposed to develop an action program in such areas as the introduction of digital innovations, fin-tech and blockchain technologies, cybersecurity, and training of specialists.
