BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17. Latvian CatchSmart company aims to get involved in various digitalization, process automation and optimization initiatives of Uzbekistan, Executive Director of the company Svetlana El Žuni told Trend.

CatchSmart is an EU-based IT-solution provider. The company develops and implements digital transformation enabling IT-systems for businesses and governmental projects. The company also does business with such Latvian government structures as Federation of Security and Defense Industries, Ministry of Agriculture, State Regional Development Agency, etc.

El Žuni says the company’s experience allows it to implement any challenging projects in Uzbekistan starting from innovative web-commerce platforms, mapping, topographic system data exchange and up to national e-governance portals.

“Our visits to Uzbekistan earlier this year with the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, as well as in business delegation convinced us that Uzbekistan is actively emerging in IT and is on its logical way to digital transformation.We foresee projects that are aiming the data exchange, process optimization and automation, inter-system integration, sustainability, asset management and LEAN-ensuring both in private and governmental sector,” El Žuni said.

El Žuni further noted that CatchSmart is going along with the Latvian and Uzbekistan collaboration initiatives – implementing them in practice.

“We believe that our IT project knowledge and experience export from Latvia will be beneficial for the emerging and ambitious economy of Uzbekistan,” she said.
