BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 24. International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects Uzbekistan's GDP growth to be 5 percent in 2023, Trend reports citing the IMF.
According to the fund, Uzbekistan's GDP is estimated to be 3.4 percent in 2022. Uzbekistan's GDP growth rate in 2021 was 7.4 percent, which is 5.5 percent more than in 2020.
At the same time, the IMF forecasts consumer price inflation in Uzbekistan at 11.3 percent in 2023 and 12.1 percent in 2022. Consumer price inflation in 2021 was equal to 10 percent.
Furthermore, according to the IMF, the GDP deflator will be 11.6 percent in 2022 and 13.1 percent in 2023.
