BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. The large enterprises of Uzbekistan produced some 110,700 tons of diesel fuel from January through February 2023, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The committee says that the country’s diesel fuel output increased by 29.02 percent, compared to the same period in 2022 (85,800 tons).
Uzbekistan’s large industrial enterprises overall manufactured products worth 72.8 trillion soums ($6.3 billion) from January through February 2023 - an increase of 9.1 percent, compared to the same period in 2022 (66.7 trillion soums or $5.8 billion).
During the reporting period, besides diesel fuel, Uzbekistan produced some 1,536 tons of paints and polishes based on acrylic or vinyl polymers in an aqueous medium, some 890,600 tons of Portland cement, as well as 263,900 tons of gasoline.
In 2022, the production of diesel fuel in Uzbekistan increased by 5.9 percent and reached 800,100 tons over 755,400 tons in 2021.
At the same time, Uzbek enterprises in 2022 manufactured industrial products worth 551.1 trillion soums ($48.4 billion), which is 5.2 percent more than what was produced during the reporting period in 2021.
