BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14. Germany became the leader among EU countries by having the highest value of trade turnover with Uzbekistan in January 2023, Trend reports with reference to the Eurostat.
The trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Germany in the reporting period amounted to over 61.2 million euros.
The second European country with the largest share of trade turnover with Uzbekistan was Poland – 42.2 million euros, while Lithuania closes the top 3 with 32.5 million euros.

The trade turnover between Uzbekistan and the EU countries in January 2023 amounted to over 323.8 million euros, increasing by 37.1 percent, compared to the figure for January 2022 (236.1 million euros).
Meanwhile, in 2022, the trade turnover between Uzbekistan and the EU countries amounted to 4.6 billion euros.
