TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 17. Sanoat Energetika Guruhi (Saneg), largest private oil and gas company of Uzbekistan, plans to open its first gas station in the Tashkent region, Trend reports.

According to the company, the launch of the first gas station, located in the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region, is scheduled for September.

Furthermore, the oil and gas company plans to establish its own network of gas stations. Saneg intends to open 55 gas stations across Uzbekistan by the end of 2024.

Currently, fuel from the Fergana Oil Refinery, owned by Saneg, is supplied to more than 40 percent of Tashkent gas stations.

In April 2023, for the uninterrupted supply of petroleum products in the capital and the Tashkent region, a terminal for the storage and distribution of petroleum products was established in the fueling complex of Tashkent International Airport. Currently, over 30,000 tons of fuel have already been delivered through it.
