Punishment on Iranian citizen, pretended as employee of Azerbaijani NSM, to be toughened

The Azerbaijani Supreme Court accepted the protest of the Prosecutor General's Office on the Iranian citizen who pretended as an employee of the National Security Ministry (NSM).

The Prosecutor General's Office considered punishment on Iranian citizen Bakhsheish Ardashir as light and asked to toughen this, the Supreme Court told Trend on June 10. The Supreme Court has sent the case to the Appeals Court for a repeated examination.

Iranian Citizen Ardashir, pretended as the employee of the NSM, committed fraud in Baku. Agakarim Mirzoyev and Musa Mustafayev assisted him in this.

The Serious Crime Court sentenced Ardashir to 6-year imprisonment. Members of the gang Mirzoyev and Mustafayev were released after paying fines worth 3,000 manat and 1,000 manat, respectively.
