Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned British ambassador Simon Gass following his insulting message against the Islamic Republic of Iran, ISNA reported.
Gass has posted an insulting message on British embassy website in Iran about the country's human rights conditions on the excuse of International Human Rights Day.
The Chairman of Iran's Foreign Ministry of Human Rights Department expressed disappointment at British police's harsh tactics at tuition fee protests in the UK which left many injured.
British students took to the streets and staged protests following tuition rise in the European country.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry official added the UK police harsh behavior against students is a symbol of violation of citizenship freedom and called for the country's organizations to respect people's rights.
The official also called release of the British ambassador's comments on Iran's human rights situation as "undiplomatic" and out of duties of an ambassador.
