President: West has 2 options for interacting with Iran

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Tuesday that West had two options for interacting with Iran; either continue its previous policy or respect rights of other nations, IRNA reported.

Addressing a large crowd in this central provincial capital city, the President said Western powers could 'either continue previous way or accept rights of the world nations.'

'However,' he added, 'Continuation of the way which has been used for the past 32 years would take enemies of the Iranian nation nowhere.'

President Ahmadinejad is in Semnan on the third round of his provincial visits to the Iranian provinces.

He stressed that in case of choosing the second choice (respecting other nations' rights), Western powers should accept that they did wrong and oppressed other nations.

President Ahmadinejad suggested Western powers to 'end their aggression, hegemony and occupation and respect rights of other nations.'

'Join nations of the world,' President Ahmadinejad advised big powers, noting that it would be the only way that the oppressed people would 'forgive you and will give you a chance for compensation.'
