First Deputy Speaker of the State Duma of Russia Oleg Morozov said here on Monday that his country does not support the US policies against the Islamic Republic of Iran, saying that Moscow is willing to foster ties with Tehran.
Morozov made the remarks while talking to IRNA, adding that Russia has taken an independent policy on its cooperation with Iran.
Contacts and talks held between the two countries' top officials indicate that the two sides are well determined to promote their bilateral, regional and international relations, the Russian official said.
He further noted that Tehran and Moscow will have bright futures and nothing is capable of preventing them from enjoying bilateral cooperation.
