Iran’s 7th humanitarian aid dispatched for Turkey
Islamic of Iran's seventh humanitarian aid for the quake-stricken people of Van province in Turkey was dispatched on Thursday, IRNA reported.
Iran's aid consignment was handed over to the Turkish officials in Van province by Iranian Red Crescent Society on Thursday.
The consignment included 400 tents for the quake-stricken people of Van.
Iran's eighth consignment containing 600 tents will be dispatched to Turkey on Friday.
After a 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Turkey's Van province in October which resulted in death of over 600 people, a 5.6 magnitude on the Richter scale also jolted Van province on Wednesday night. A total of 12 people have been confirmed dead so far.
