Each dollar was sold at 13,340 rials on the Tehran free market on Tuesday. The euro and the pound were also priced at 18,140 rials and 21,350 rials, respectively, the Mehr news agency reported.
The USD exchange rate in foreign independent exchange market was 12,940 rials, while euro was 17,600 rials.
Each Azadi gold coin was sold at 6.08 million rials in free market, while the central bank has tagged the price of 5.89 million rials for it. Meanwhile, each ounce of gold was sold at 1,696 dollars in international markets.
Bahar-e Azadi Coin is an Iranian gold coin minted by the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
