Iran not concerned with European sanctions

Iran Materials 22 November 2011 17:37 (UTC +04:00)

Iran is by no means worried about European countries that may no longer buy Iranian oil as a result of the recent sanctions, Shana quoted National Iranian Oil Company's managing director.

Discussing the new sanctions imposed on Iran's oil industry by France, the NIOC head added that basically the amount of crude oil exports to the EU member states is very small. So, Iran can find new customers instead of France or other European countries.

The U.S., Britain and Canada announced new sanctions targeting Iran's banks and oil industry on Monday.

The resolution followed IAEA General Director's Yukiya Amano report, issued on November 8, which reads that the "information indicates Iran has carried out activities relevant to the development of nuclear explosive devices."
