Iran’s petrol use drops

Iran's petrol consumption dropped by around two percent to around 59 million liters per day last week, Shana news reported.

Government data shows 416.3 million litres of petrol used from Nov. 26-Dec. 2 (Azar 5-11 on Iran's calendar). This was 8.4 million litres less than the previous week, Shana said.

The National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Co.'s statistics show fuel oil consumption dropped 3.3 percent while kerosene use increased 33.5 million liters over the same week.
