The deputy commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said on Sunday that any location used to launch an attack against Iran will come under assault by IRGC combat units, MNA reported.
"Any point... of origin of an enemy offensive against the Islamic Republic of Iran will become the target of a reciprocal assault by IRGC combat units," Brigadier General Hossein Salami said.
Commenting on the Supporters of Velayat war games, which are currently being held in southern Iran, he stated that the maneuvers are a response to the threats made by extra-regional powers.
IRGC ground troops started the Supporters of Velayat war games on Saturday to enhance their military prowess and their capability to repel any military attack on the country.
