Iranian roads and urban development minister needs 400 trillion rials (some $33 billion) to complete semi-finished projects, deputy roads and urban development minister Ahmad Sadeqi said.
Ahmad Sadeqi told Mehr News Agency that the budget can be secured through issuing bonds and selling shares of state-run companies, as well as allocating oil revenues to the projects.
This year, around 23 trillion rials has been allocated to the road projects, he said, adding that more than 43,000 kilometers of railroads and highways will be built across the country.
