Planning operations are underway to have Iran's energy stock exchange up and run by mid-November.
Shapour Mohammadi, head of the Energy Stock Exchange, told Shana news agency that meetings are ongoing with Iran's Oil Ministry and Energy Ministry and one of the issues being examined is electricity trading on the exchange.
When asked about previous problems with trading oil on the mercantile exchange, Mohammadi said the groundwork is carefully being laid to have the right mechanisms for this trade.
The exchange is to be located in the Tehran Stock Exchange building.
