UN General Assembly president condoles Iran's nation over quake
President of the UN General Assembly expressed his deep sorrow over deadly quake in East Azerbaijan province and condoled Iran's government and nation on Tuesday, IRNA reported.
Nassie Abdulaziz al-Nasser, the president of the UN General Assembly, in his message expressed his condolences over the deadly quake in northwest part of Iran.
He underlined attention of the UN body members to the issue of natural disaster.
UN Secretary General Ban-ki Moon also expressed his condolences to the the families of victims of the quake on Monday and expressed the UN readiness for sending aids or anykind of coopration for dispatching international releif to quake-stricken areas.
