Iran and the country's armed forces are not a threat to neighboring and other countries, Iranian president Hassan Rouhani said during a military parade held in Tehran on Sunday, IRINN TV channel reported.
According to him, the parties that threaten the region's countries have violated all international laws.
Iran's armed forces are democratic compared with the armed forces in other countries. Iranian armed forces have never interfered in politics and obey the will of the people, Rouhani said.
Iran is a country that made a revolution and didn't need to conduct the war, president said.
According to him, over the past 200 years Iran has not attacked any country, and the Iranian Armed Forces will not start a war, but they will always be heroic defenders against attacking forces.
Rouhani also asked countries that want to start a war and warned that they regret about their intention.
