BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 5. In the last Iranian week (May 25–29, 2024), the value of sales on the Iranian Energy Exchange was 43.2 trillion rials (about $95.7 million), Trend reports via Iran's Energy Exchange.

More than 157 thousand tons of oil, gas, and other energy carriers worth about 39.2 trillion rials (about $86.7 million) were sold last week in Iran.

It is mentioned in the information that in the last Iranian week, products worth 9.71 trillion rials (about $ 21.5 million) and 29.5 trillion rials (about $ 65.2 million) were sold in the international section of the Energy Exchange. Mainly white oil, naphtha, and liquid gas (LPG) were sold on the Energy Exchange.

The Energy Exchange sold 6.68 million kilowatts of green electricity for 312 billion rials (approximately $690 thousand) over the aforementioned week.

The value of purchases and sales in other markets last week on the Energy Exchange was 3.75 trillion rials (about $ 8.3 million).

The sale of hydrocarbon products on Iran's Energy Exchange is of great importance. Through the Energy Exchange, Iran is trying to provide hydrocarbon products needed by local companies, as well as increase exports.
