Sergey Lavrov to discuss regional problems in Turkey

The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold negotiations with the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry and meet the Turkish president Ahmed Nejdat Sezar during his visit to Turkey from May 31 to June 1.

Based on the information provided by the press-service of the Russia Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov is planning to visit the headquarter of the Black Sea Organization for Economic Cooperation (BSOEC) where he will hold negotiation with the secretariat of this organization, Trend reports with reference to iran.ru.

During the visit, the sides will discuss the prospects of the Iraqi and Near-Eastern regulation, the situation around the Iranian nuclear program, the situation in the Transcaucasia and Central Asia, Cyprian problem and the future fight with the terrorism.

It is planned to pay the primary attention to the activity of the international operational marine force group BLACKSIFOR and the prospects of Russias joining the peacemaking operation of Turkey The Black Sea Harmony.

According to information of AHH, over the recent period, Moscow and Ankara reflect a similar position on the Iranian nuclear program, dialogue with HAMAS and the opportunities to turn BSOEC into an economical-political block.
