(www.irna.ir) вЂ" Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said here Monday that Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Secretary Ali Larijani and EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana have agreed to resume talks on the Iran nuclear issue.
Mottaki was speaking at a joint press conference with his Omani counterpart, Yousuf bin Alawi Abdullah, who is currently visiting the country, reports Trend.
"The agreement was reached during a meeting between Larijani and Solana last week. They agreed to continue negotiations from where it was stopped," the Iranian minister said.
"We think that the two sides can harmonize their stances in such a way that Iran's rights can be preserved and the other side's concerns, if any, removed through transparent talks," Mottaki said.
