( IRNA ) - Iran and the US will resume talks on Iraq within a month, an Iraqi newspaper reported Tuesday.

The state-run newspaper al-Sabah reported the triple panel including Iran, US and Iraq agreed at the end of their Monday meeting to hold another meeting within a month.

The paper termed as "unique" the topics discussed during the Monday session, which lasted for four hours.

Negotiations between Washington and Tehran in Baghdad led to form triple panel to coordinate paths about Iraq's domestic situation, it added.

Iraqi media on Tuesday gave a broad coverage to the Iran-US talks on Iraq.

According to al-Sabah, several observers believe the meeting turned into an opportunity for Tehran and Washington to exchange charges.
