Lebanese Minister of Finance Ali Hassan Khalil arrived in Tehran to discuss mutual ties as well as latest regional developments with Iranian officials.

Heading a high-ranking political and economic delegation, Khalil is scheduled to hold negotiations with Iranian Economy Minister Ali Tayebnia, Vice-President Eshagh Jahangiri, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani and other senior Iranian officials, IRNA news agency reported Dec. 7.

Last week a Lebanese commercial delegation, headed by Fuad Zmokhol, president of Lebanese Businessmen Association visited Tehran and held various meetings with Iranian businessmen.

Iranian-Lebanese trade turnover accounts for some $50 million per annum.

Tehran exported $41.5 million worth of goods to Lebanon during the first seven months of the current Iranian fiscal year(started March 21), according to the latest report of the Iranian customs administration.

Iran's imports from Lebanon during the 7-month period accounted to $19 million.
