Gas consumption in Iran’s north-western regions increased by about 9.7 million cubic meters per day (mcm/d) to 45.14 mcm/d during a week to Oct. 25 as compared to the previous week, IRNA reported.
The reason is the housing sector’s rising gas demand due to the cold months.
During the period, about 78 mcm/d of gas was delivered to these regions, including East and West Azerbaijan, Ardabil, a part of Kurdistan and Zanjan provinces.
