The value of Iran’s non-oil exports has reached $35.27 billion over the first ten months of the current fiscal year (starting March 20) indicating 8.3 percent growth year-on-year.
According to the latest statistics by the Islamic Republic’s Customs Administration, the country imported worth of $34.982 billion of goods over the mentioned period.
In the meantime, the country’s trade balance stood at $288 million continuing its positive trend for the tenth straight month.
Meanwhile, the country’s trade turnover in the 10 month-period reached $70.252 billon indicating 5.8 percent rise year-on-year.
Gas condensates formed the largest share of the country’s non-oil exports with a total value of $6.26 billion accounting for 17.08 percent of the total exports of no-oil products in the mentioned period.
Iran includes gas condensate and some raw hydrocarbon products like propane, butane, etc in its non-oil export basket.
Liquefied natural gases stood in the second place with a total value of $1.952 million forming 5.53 percent of the country’s non-oil exports.
Livestock corn with a value of 1.161 million ranked first among the country’s main imported goods.
China remained as the main importer of Iranian commodities as the Islamic Republic exported worth of $6.543 billion of commodities to China over the ten-month period.
According to the report, the value of Iran’s non-oil exports to China increased by 9.53 percent.
The UAE ($5.665 billion), Iraq ($5.39 billion), Turkey ($2.817 billion) and South Korea ($ 2.567 billion) were among the main importers of Iranian commodities in the mentioned period.
