The South Pars Phase 19’s sweetening unit has been completed as the last sweetening row came on stream, SHANA news agency reported.
According to Hamid Reza Masoudi, director of Phase 19 development project, the 19B platform of the project will come on stream in April.
The phase has so far produced 5.5 billion cubic meters gas and 7.4 million barrels of gas condensates.
The phase is designed to give 56.6 mcm of sour gas from the South Pars. It is also planned to yield 80 barrels of gas condensates and 400 tons of sulfur per day, as well as produce 50 mcm/d of sweet gas.
Phase 19 is also expected to produce 2,800 tons of LPG. 2,550 tons of ethane so produced will be exported.
