Main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) lost 271.8 points or 0.34 percent to end trade at 79697.4 on May 6.
According to the TSE official website, about 980 million shares valued at $ 90.167 million (2.9 trillion rials) changed hands for the day.
The Price Index was down 93.5 points or 0.34 percent to stand at 27425.3.
The First Market Index shed 215.2 points or 0.39 percent to post 55189.2.
The Second Market Index shrank by 450.7 points or 0.25 percent to reach 177302.3.
The Industry Index gave up 261.5 points or 0.38 percent to register 68406.6.
The TSE 30 Index declined 15.5 points or 0.5 percent to close at 3088.7, while the TSE 50 Index slumped 10.2 points or 0.33 percent to finish at 3070.6.
