The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Feb. 12:
Export floor: Offers 200,000 tons of sulphur, 44,500 tons of bitumen and 300 tons of insulation.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 102,869 tons of polymers, bitumen and vacuum bottom feed stock.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 984 tons iron beam, 1,516 tons of rebar basket from Esfahan Steel Co., 81,350 tons of hot and cold rolled steel from Mobarakeh Steel Co., 1,320 tons of wire copper, 3,000 tons of cathode copper, 20,000 tons of low-grade copper, 12 tons of precious metal concentrates, 190 tons of sulphur molybdenum, 3,000 tons of cement and 100 tons of zinc ingot.
Agriculture floor: Offers 325,000 day-oil chicks, 9,600 tons of wheat, 5,350 tons of sugar, 1,500 tons of crude vegetable oil, 170 tons of large lentil and 3,834 tons of maize within the framework of supportive price plan.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 100 tons of lactic butter from Belgium and Germany, 458 tons of frozen meat, 1,031 tons of metal scraps and 50 tons of used locomotive engine.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
