Japan wants the necessary protection from the US oil embargo against Iran, to be ensured for its companies purchasing oil from Iran, Japanese Minister of Finance Taro Aso said at a meeting with US Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin, ILNA reported.
The Japanese minister said that he wants guarantees of security of the Japanese companies buying oil from Iran.
Japanese companies don’t want fines to be applied in their regard for the oil purchased from Iran, he added.
