Iran imports 1.5 mln mobile phones over 6 months

The foreign trade statistics of Iran's Customs Office indicate that more than 1.5 million mobile phones were imported in the first half of the current year (started on March 21, 2018), ISNA reported.
During the period, 1,526,864 mobile phones worth $242,692,000 were imported to Iran.
Compared to the same period last year, there is an increase, both, in the total value and the number of mobile phone imports.
In recent months there has been a great devaluation in Iran and the price of mobile phones has gone up by at least 4 times.
