Iran exports most of mining materials to Turkey

Over 45 percent of goods exported by Iran accounted for mining sector during eight months of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), according to the Iranian Customs Administration.

Turkey imported most of Iranian mining materials, Trend reports referring to ISNA. During the period, Iran exported 441,311 tons of mining materials to Turkey.

During 10 months of 2018, trade turnover between Iran and Turkey amounted to $8.2 billion.

Different stones, bricks, ceramic products, aluminium oxide powder, aluminium and aluminium products, titanium, zinc, lead, cement, chrome and molybdenum are exported by Iran to Turkey.

During eight months, 38,700 tons of zinc worth $110.9 million were exported. Moreover, 41,200 tons of aluminium and aluminium products worth $85 million were exported.

More than 138,800 tons of steel and steel products worth $74.5 million were exported.

During the reported period, metals and precious stones worth $7 million were among the rarely exported products.
