The National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC) will repair about 12 oil tankers in the upcoming eight months, Managing Director of NITC Nasrollah Sardashti said, Trend reports via ISNA.
Last year, the company repaired 32 Iranian oil tankers in China and the UAE, Sardashti added. In the future, the tankers will be repaired in Iran and this will prevent outgoing currency flow on repair, he noted.
Presently, NTIC owns 60 vessels, he said.
